I couldn't have done this…
…Without you

For the most people in the United Kingdom, it was a beautiful day in the summer.
And for a young couple, the day did start wonderful. But a couple of words ended this feeling, maybe even for the rest of their lives.

Victor Volt was in the kitchen, making some lemonade. It was the U.Z.Z. summer vacation and he and his wife were enjoying this rare beautiful weather.
He let out a deep sigh and placed the lemonade and two glasses onto the serving tray. Together with his serving tray, he walked towards the garden. He was married for a couple of years now and he could still feel the strong love between him and his beautiful wife. Just like when he met her for the first time. "I have some lemonade for you." said the caring husband when he approached his wife. She spent the whole afternoon in the garden, which could be seen as pretty huge. They bought the house just when they were engaged. They were happy with the many rooms it had, but when they saw the garden, they were sold.

The young woman looked to her husband. "Thank you." she whispered and she grabbed a glass from the tray. She wasn't in the mood to talk much.

"Anita," the strawberry-blond U.Z.Z. agent looked to her partner, "there are other ways…"

"I don't want to talk about it, at least not now."

Victor just nodded. "I can understand that." he said and silence fell between them. They were both still processing the news that was giving them that morning.

Both couldn't imagine that something like that would happen to them.

"We need to tell…" Anita started, but Victor didn't let her finish her sentence.

"At this moment, I only care about you, not about anyone else." he said and he placed his hand on her shoulder. "We will need to figure this out together, before we'll tell anyone about this." Victor knelt down to her level. "We can do this together."

Anita smiled and Victor leant closer to her. "You are right, Victor. We can do this together." she whispered and Victor gave her a soft kiss on her lips.

"We can conquer this."
